Ulster Bank has cited the fact fewer customers had been using the branch as a reason for its closure.
“This certainly gives the impression of the big beasts of the financial industry deserting the local communities.”
The bank closed its doors on June 20th and in its place a mobile banking service visits the town every Friday.
Bank bosses say they will be reviewing number of branches.
