A FEW weeks back, this photo of a cyclist in Boho carrying a dog on his back posted by the Fermanagh Herald got a HUGE reaction.

And, we’ve managed to track the down the teenager behind it.

17-year-old Seamus McLoughlin was as shocked as anyone to see a photo of him riding a bike with his dog Sandy clinging onto his back – but he saw the funny side.

The pic was snapped by Ronan Maguire.

And Seamus explained that after going out for a two mile cycle his dog Sandy was feeling the strain – so he popped her on his back.

He told the Fermanagh Herald: “I was just out with the dog and she was tired running. So I threw her on my back to give her a rest. I’d done it before once but I didn’t expect a photo of it anyway.”

He said that the reaction has been brilliant.

“A lot of people didn’t know it was me because you couldn’t see the face. So they were showing me the photo and laughing but it was even funnier when I told them it was me. I’m sure most dogs, if they weren’t afraid, could do it. She just gets the front paws around me and she’s grand.”

But will he be taking her out for another trip in a similar fashion?

“I mightn’t bring her out as much in case there’s more photos being took!”
