AN ENNISKILLEN woman has just published her first ever magazine to mark the Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show.

Caoilfhionn Maguire, 24, works as a magazine publisher and freelance writer specialising in travel, art, culture and lifestyle-related pieces.

A former pupil of Mount Lourdes Grammar School, Caoilfhionn was part of a dedicated team of three who planned and put together the magazine in just a few short weeks.

The focus of the ECFS 2016 campaign was on youth in the city. This is the first year that a magazine has accompanied the show and Caoilfhionn says the response has been phenomenal.

“People regarded the magazine as brilliant for models, the committee, their respective families and lovers of ECFS to have a tangible memory of the show, as well as an artwork in itself,” she added.

Caoilfhionn first moved to Edinburgh seven years ago to study English Literature.

“My first semester at the University of Edinburgh was awful and I begged my mum to let me move back home to study Law at Queen’s but she made me get back on the plane to Edinburgh after Christmas. As soppy as it sounds, it’s the best thing that she could have ever done for me!”
