Two first half goals set Glenavon on their way to three points at Ferney Park this afternoon.
A solid performance saw them open the scoring  on 13 minutes when Andy Patton shot home low into the corner from 20 yards for his first goal of the season.
It was 2-0 on 29 minute when Braniff strode clear down the left to set up Martin to nick the ball home.
Five minutes before the break Ballinamallard were thrown a lifeline when they were awarded a penalty, but Jason McCartney’s effort came back off the post.
The did however pull one back two minutes into the second half when Liam Martin’s brilliant run ended up with a shot which beat keeper Blayney
Glenavon though sealed the points when McMenamin was adjudged to have fouled Bradley and Braniff made no mistake from the spot kick.
