Enniskillen Motor Club announce magnificent seven for 2015

Enniskillen Motor Club have unveiled and action-packed schedule for 2015.

Following on from their extremely successful 50th year in 2014 Enniskillen Motor Club (EMC) have unveiled a schedule of seven events for 2015.

The 50th running of the Erne Safari Night Navigation Rally on Friday 6th March; The May Day Stages Rally at St Angelo  Airfield on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May; Autotest, a NI Championship round, on  23rd May; The Campbell’s Contracts Rally Time Trial on Saturday 18th July; the Erne Trophy Sprint at St Angelo Airfield on Saturday 1st August; The Lakeland Stages Rally, a round of the McGrady Insurance NI Rally Championship AND Valvoline National Forestry Championship 2015 on Saturday 5th September 2015; Finishing up the year with The Clubman’s Stages Rally on Saturday 3rd October.

But before all that Enniskillen Motor Club will hold their 51st AGM on Wednesday 14th January in The Enniskillen Hotel at 8pm. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.

Current Club Chairman, Drew Wilson said, “We want a good turnout on the night as we need all the club members and rallying enthusiasts we can get to come along and sign up with Motor Club as we have seven events to run in 2015.”

Wilson is keen to point out the big news for EMC is that following on from last year’s success, The Lakeland Stages Rally which ran so well under the Samdec Security banner, will be a counting round of the Valvoline National Forestry Championship in 2015.

Also, the resurrected Erne Trophy Sprint with a classic car and bike show which was ran for the first time in 20 years in 2014 will again run in 2015, on Saturday 1st August, but this time as a counting round of the NI Sprint Championship.

EMC will present their Clubman trophies in the Enniskillen Hotel after the AGM. The recipients are: Young Driver of the Year – Connor Woods; Navigator of The Year – Wendy Blackledge; and Driver of the Year – Ruairi Maguire.
