Police seize 400 cannabis plants worth £200k

POLICE have made an arrest and seized around 400 cannabis plants with an estimated street value of £200, 000.

A 24-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis and abstracting electricity.

The find took place in the Florencourt area yesterday, November 6.

A police spokesman added: “Approximately 400 cannabis plants were found, with an estimated street value of around £200,000 was also seized. A neighbouring property has also been searched and cultivation equipment was recovered.

“In addition officers searched a third property today (Friday, November 7th) and a considerable quantity of cannabis was found.”
