Exports have grown by 80% over the last two years accounting for 85% of revenue and this has been largely through extensive PR and marketing, media coverage, networking with partners and strategically targeting customers in certain segments with specific characteristics.
The strategy of partnering with UK & Ireland based software companies has contributed to this export growth, with new business interest in the US and Sweden.
GR White & Son Ltd
G.R. White is now one of Ireland’s leading electrical contractors with strength and capability in delivering solutions to all aspects of design and build scenarios throughout Ireland and Europe.
Having opened offices in the Republic of Ireland and Scotland, GR White has increased 2013 turnover by 48.5% when compared to 2012, with export sales accounting for 43% of the company’s turnover.
GR White’s success to date has been attributed to the quality and expertise offered to its developing customer base.
The company has their future success firmly fixed on achieving growth in exports by way of developing and investing in new products and service strategies.
Lakeland Electrical Services
Lakeland Electrical Services is a professional electrical, fire and security company, providing high quality workmanship with a team of highly trained and motivated staff.
Sales have grown year on year since formation in 2007 with export sales accounting for 70% of current revenue, growing from 40% in 2012. A number of major contracts in the Republic of Ireland have contributed to the company’s export success.
A dedicated marketing and PR campaign as well as a business strategy have been put in place to ensure ongoing development and success. As the business develops, markets including the UK and Europe as well as Asia have been identified.
