Fermanagh students celebrate A Level results

Well done to all the hard-working Fermanagh students who have been receiving their A Level results today!

There were plenty of nerves across the county this morning for the young people and their families awaiting the release of the results at 8am, and while many have been celebrating since, there will be plenty of pupils who may not be quite as happy with their marks. These students are reminded there are plenty of options still available to them – for more information click here.

Meanwhile, young people have been reminded to celebrate responsibly this evening.

A spokesman for Fermanagh and Omagh PSNI said, “If you are receiving exam results today, you will probably want to mark the occasion and we want you to do so safely.

“If you are drinking, be mindful of your alcohol intake as this can affect your judgement and decision-making. Look out for your friends. If you go out together, stay together. Plan your journey home and make arrangements before you go out.

“Please have a safe and enjoyable night.”
