Muck truck tribute to comic ‘legend’

SO dreams really do come true!
Comedian Mark McCarney is on cloud nine after Enniskillen’s famous Muck Truck takeaway van has announced the introduction of their tribute to him – ‘The Mucky McCarney.’
Last week, the Herald reported that one of the Fintona’s mans dreams is to have a burger from the Muck Truck named after him and taking to Facebook, the Muck Truck confirmed that due to popular demand, the new product is coming soon to their menu.
The burger is described as a ‘beef burger with a chicken fillet topped with grated cheese and curry, all in a floury bap.’ The burger will be £6 – and according to McCarney – it’s worth every penny.
Taking to Facebook to express his delight at the good news, McCarney said, “Today a higher power delivered me a sign that I am finally on the right path. A sign in the form of The Muck Truck naming a Burger after me! “The Mucky McCarney” a beef burger built like myself with a succulent chicken fillet on top, lathered with the finest grated cheese this side of Blacklion and curry Sauce that would make even Arlene Foster’s eyes water.
“My dream is that this Burger will make people come together no matter what your race, religion or parish. They said I was a dreamer, A mad man… Well show your Elders, tell your Children. I am proof that if you dream big enough it will come true! This is more than just a Burger, this is my Oscar, my Nobel Peace Prize, my Rose of Tralee.”
McCarney is fast becoming a social media sensation, and Fermanagh has been getting a touch in his latest round of Facebook videos.
The comedian is performing in Pat’s Bar, Enniskillen on November 23rd and it’s sure to be a laugh a minute. Tickets are £10 and available from www.wegottickets.com.
