UUP councillor Diana Armstrong has topped the poll in Erne North.
Cllr Armstrong is the fourth Fermanagh candidate to be elected to the next Fermanagh and Omagh District Council, after three candidates were returned in Erne East earlier this afternoon. The UUP woman, who received 1186 first preference votes, was co-opted on to the Council in place of MLA Rosemary Barton following her election to Stormont in 2017.
Transfers will now be distributed among the remaining candidates.
Sinn Fein’s Siobhan Currie, with 1055 first preferences, and the SDLP’s John Coyle, with 911, appear to be polling well so far.
