It’s all getting very tense here at the Fermanagh South Tyrone count at the Omagh Leisure Centre, with a close finish expected for the last two seats.
Sinn Fein’s Michille Gildernew and Jemma Dolan were deemed elected on stage three of the count, with a total of 9,385 and 8,928 votes respectively.
The UUP’s Rosemary Barton, who now has a total of 8,334, not far off the quota of 8,711, meaning she could now be hard to catch up with.
In what will be a surprising battle to some, the fight for the last seat is coming down to the DUP’s Maurice Morrow and Sinn Fein veteran Sean Lynch, with the DUP man on 7,405 and the Sinn Fein stalwart on 7,174.
Once again, it will all be down to the transfers, with the surplus now being distributed.
