BREAKING: Man arrested over Lisnaskea stabbing

Police have arrested a man following a stabbing attack at a house in Lisnaskea in the early hours of this morning.

The PSNI have confirmed that the assault at the property at Trasna Way involved a number of males and that one has been arrested in connection with the incident. 

The Fermanagh Herald understands that the other males involved made off in the direction of the border. The extent of the victims injuries are unclear.

PSNI detective inspector Will Tate said: “I would ask anyone with any information about this incident to contact detectives at Enniskillen Police Station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 118 of 08/10/16.

“Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
