Pete McGrath is to continue his reign as manager of Fermanagh.
McGrath has been contemplating his future with Fermanagh since his side suffered a cruel defeat to Mayo in the qualifiers.
The former Down manager was appointed in 2013, taking over from Peter Cavanagh and led the Ernemen to last year’s All Ireland quarter final against Dublin, where they were defeated.
In the light of his decision, McGrath and his always improving Fermanagh side will be setting their sights on Fermanagh’s first ever Ulster title for the 2017 season.
McGrath has yet to meet with the Fermanagh County Board to have his position as manager confirmed.
Although it is expected that the news of McGrath’s confirmation of his intent to manage Fermanagh in 2017 will be good news for players ands fans of the county.
