Pete McGrath has named his starting 15 to face Derry in Sunday’s NFL Division 2 opener.

Eoin Donnelly has retained captaincy, while his midfield partner in the absence of the injured Richard O’Callaghan is Derrygonnelly man Conall Jones.

The main changes from last year come in defence with  James McMahon stepping into Ryan McCluskey’s number six jersey, Aidan Breen taking over from Tiarnán Daly at full back and Damian Kelly filling the wing back berth vacated by McMahon.

There is also surprise start for Belnaleck man Che Cullen. Cullen got the full game in the McKenna cup semi-final against Tyrone, his only outing this season. He has already nearly surpassed his total game time for 2015 this season, having only managed 78 minutes last year.

It’s an experienced front six, but there are some new faces on the bench with Cian McManus, Kane Connor, Daniel Teague, Paddy Reihill, Pat Cadden, Paddy McGovern and Ryan Hanna all new from 2015. Kane Connor last lined out for Fermanagh in 2013 and this is also Pat Cadden’s second stint on the county senior squad.
