We have worked very hard over the past 5 years, selecting our suppliers and ranges carefully, to ensure that we have a range of wine, beer and spirits that you will not get anywhere else! You really feel compelled to browse when you come in despite yourself as the choice is fantastic.
Shane does an absolutely fantastic job at keeping the off licence clean, tidy & fully stocked for our customers and he is always willing to help customers who want help. All of our beer is always chilled and ready to drink off the shelf which is unique and 5 of our staff have completed our Level 1 Wine Spirit & Education Trust certificate and we embark upon level 2 shortly. Our off sales is an area of focus for us and we were thrilled to be recognized for it.
Every year we host two Customer Appreciation Evenings in December. We invite a few of our Wine suppliers in to taste a selection of their wines, a craft beer supplier to taste a selection of their beers and this year we have added local craft spirits to our tasting menu. This is an opportunity for our customers to taste a range of wines, beers and spirits and perhaps be introduced to something they may not have tried before.
Every year I go to several tastings and that is how I decide what to bring in for our customers, it makes sense to me that our customers should be offered the same opportunity! Everyone likes to try something new but no one wants to fork out money on something they don’t even know if they’ll like or enjoy.
