Two arrested over Enniskillen cannabis find

Two men have been arrested following the find and seizure of suspected cannabis in Enniskillen on the evening of Tuesday 25 August.

Police were on routine patrols when they stopped a car in the Windmill Road area just after 9.15pm. A quantity of suspected herbal cannabis, psychoactive substances and cash was seized. Two men, aged 20 and 19, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply. They were later released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Sergeant Darren Fox said: “This incident is an example of the PSNI’s commitment to tackling the sale and supply of drugs in Northern Ireland. Information from communities is vital to assist this, therefore I would encourage anyone with any suspicions to contact their local police station on the non emergency number 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, where you can speak anonymously, on 0800 555 111.”
