FERMANAGH’S Roy Carroll has been ruled out of Saturday’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Romania

But, his absence is expected to mean a starting place for fellow county-man Michael McGovern.

Notts County goalkeeper Carroll has been suffering from abdominal pain.

While it’s bad news for Carroll, for Hamilton’s Michael McGovern, it will be his chance to impress.

The Enniskillen man is set for his fourth international cap.

Otherwise, Fermanagh’s Kyle Lafferty will be hoping to continue his impressive international form in tomorrow’s game at Windsor Park.

The Norwich City striker has already scored five times in the campaign.

At present, Northern Ireland sit second in qualifying Group F, but a win would see them go top.
