WE CAUGHT UP with Coronation Street star and Fermanagh actor Charlie Lawson and his partner Debbie as they look forward to the launch of Festival Lough Erne which kicks off this evening (Friday).
The actor, who is best know for his role as Jim McDonald in the British soap, will be there to sample some of Fermanagh’s finest cuisine.
Speaking to the Fermanagh Herald, he said: “We are here for the food festival today and the Bay City Rollers tonight. I’ll be in the hospitality tent while Debbie will be watching them.
“The town is absolutely jumping, we even have Marks and Spencers here now – that’s something.”
