Eight jobs to go at Devenish College
BOARD OF GOVERNORS chairman at Devenish College, Alex Baird, revealed to the Fermanagh Herald on Wednesday that seven teaching posts were to be lost at the school. He said that those involved would do all they could to ensure voluntary or transferred redundancies.

£250m gas project launched in Enniskillen
THE AMBITIOUS ‘Gas to the West’ project was launched in Enniskillen on Wednesday. Thousands of homes and businesses in Enniskillen and Derrylin could be set to benefit from the project.

Photoshop Phil makes sure he gets in on the act!
FERMANAGH Assembly member has Phil Flanagan taken exception to being ‘snubbed’ from the launch of a multi-million pound sports facility in Maguiresbridge. Photoshop came to the rescue, however.

Brolly good show at the Novena:
GAA PUNDIT and former star Joe Brolly brought thousands to the Graan for the annual Novena of Hope. His talk was described as ‘phenomenal’ by Fr Brian D’Arcy.

Enniskillen mother tells of her heartache at son’s suicide:
AN ENNISKILLEN mother bereaved by suicide is to have a letter written to her late son published in a book. Paul Monaghan took his own life in March of last year. His mother, Mary, spoke to the Fermanagh Herald about her aims to help ‘even just one person’.
