Pedestrian knocked down in Enniskillen

A PEDESTRIAN has been knocked down by a vehicle outside the South West College in Enniskillen this afternoon (Wednesday)

The pedestrian was taken to hospital to receive treatment for their injuries, however, they are not thought to be life-threatening.

The details of how the accident occurred are not yet known. The roads at Gaol Square remained open while paramedics treated the injured person.

A police spokesman said: “Police attended following a report an RTC (rad traffic collision) involving a pedestrian. The incident happened shortly before 1.30pm today (Wednesday, February 4th).

“There are no reports of any life threatening injuries at this time.”
