Some of the participants who attended the Open session hosted by Erne Wrestling Club on Sunday at the Forum.
Erne Wrestling club hosted an open training session which was well supported by wrestling clubs from Cavan, Derry, Belfast, and Carrickfergus on Sunday.
People of all ages and abilities got together to train and roll around getting prepared for upcoming competitions and just for fun.
The English junior and senior championships take place on March 7 in Bolton where Erne Wrestling will be represented by Christy Sweeney at the junior level while Mark Conor, Mel McTeggart, John Pantry and Gavin Warrington will all be representing at senior level.
The club is also in final preparations for the second annual St Patrick’s Festival training camp and tournament held at the Lakeland Forum from Wednesday March 18 through Saturday the 21st.
Greatly supported by the Fermanagh District Council, this event brings wrestlers from all over Ireland, England, Scotland, Wales and other parts of Europe.
