Brothel accused in court

Alleged Brothel, Enniskillen

Police raided an appartment block on the Cornagrade Road, Enniskillen at around 9pm on October 15.

A 35–YEAR-OLD woman accused of keeping a brothel in Enniskillen has appeared at Fermanagh Magistrates Court.

Tereza Fedechen, with an address of Clarion Quay, Dublin, stands accused  that she kept or managed or acted in the management of or assisted in the management of a brothel. The arrest and charges come following a police raid on an appartment block on the Cornagrade Road, Enniskillen at around 9pm on October 15.

The Brazilian national appeared in the dock to hear the charges. Asked if she understood the charges, the woman , after prompting from her solicitor replied: “yes”. A police officer was also able to connect Fedechen to the charge.

A full police file on the case was requested on October 27 and district judge Nigel Broderick adjourned the matter for four weeks for this to come through. The judge ordered Fedechen to appear back at Fermanagh Magistrates Court on December 3.

She was released on her own bail of £500 on the condition she resides at her Dublin address and police retain her passport and identification card.
