POLICE in Enniskillen are appealing for information after a report of a petrol bomb attack near the former Quinn Group HQ now Aventas Headquarters on the Ballyconnell Road, Derrylin area last night (Monday 3rd February).
It is believed a nearby BT installation was targeted and communications in the area disrupted
Shortly before 9:15pm, it was reported that a car with a number of males on board stopped outside the premises. It is believed that two petrol bombs were thrown during the incident, causing scorch damage. The men made off along the Ballyconnell Road area.
Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information about the incident to contact them at CID in Enniskillen on 0845 600 8000. Or , if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
