Ms Justice Elizabeth Dunne ruled this morning that a payment for €210,000 by Seán Quinn junior to Quinn Properties Sweden had resolved every aspect of the matter.
Quinn Properties Sweden is a company controlled by receivers appointed by the former Anglo Irish Bank.
The money was raised by Mr Quinn and his wife, Karen Woods, through a charge on their home in Castleknock in Dublin.
Ms Justice Elizabeth Dunne said she was grateful the contempt matter against Mr Quinn was finally over.
It had been ongoing since June 2012 when she made a finding of contempt against Mr Quinn over the alleged stripping of assets from the Quinn’s International Property Group.
Sean Quinn Junior and his father both served terms of imprisonment for contempt.
