Police have re-opened roads in Donagh after security alert

The security alert at Donagh has now ended. Army Technical Officers examined a suspicious device and Police believe this was a deliberate hoax. All roads in the area have now been re-opened.

Superintendent Simon Walls has condemned the incident, “Those responsible for placing this hoax device have done nothing but cause disruption to people in the area and waste the time of officers who are much better employed in dealing with community concerns and crimes that impact on local people.
