AN ENNISKILLEN man has been fined for possession a controlled drug of Class C namely.
Jude Acheson Martin (30) from Cleenish Park, Enniskillen was fined for possession of Class C Controlled Drug namely Gabapentin which is medication primarily used to treat neuropathic pain and also for partial seizures of epilepsy.
A car was searched on Feburary 5 2024 due to smell of cannabis but Gabapentin was found.

The defendants barrister stated that it was for personal use, he had attended a retreat, has had no drugs in 10 months and is an expectant father.
District Judge Alana McSorley fined Martin £100 and issued a destruction order for the drugs.
