Vera O’Connor (nee McGovern), County Care Home Enniskillen, (and formerly) Millverne Care Home Enniskillen, and The Fold Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh. Died Friday 30th May, peacefully. Daughter of the late James and Maryann McGovern. Beloved wife of the late Desmond (Des, R.I.P) and predeceased by her 13 brothers and sisters. Vera will repose at Swift and McCaffrey Funeral Home, Lisnaskea BT920LA tomorrow (Saturday) from 1pm until removal at 5.30p.m. to arrive at St Ninnidh’s Church, Derrylin for 6 o’clock. Funeral mass on Sunday afternoon at 1p.m. with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Vera will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law Sally McGovern, nieces, nephews, cousins and the entire family circle. The death has occurred of Thomas Henry Kenneth (Ken) CURTIS. 30th May 2025, peacefully at home. Thomas Henry Kenneth “Ken”, late of 76 Tirmacspird Road, Ederney. A devoted husband of the late Sally, a cherished father of Brian, Alan (Florrie), Sandra (Eric) and Debbie (John) and a dear brother of Noel, Kathleen, Myra and the late Derek and Brian. Also a very special grandfather of Jodi, Nadine, Cameron, Joshua and Nathan. Family home private please. Friends and neighbours are welcome to pay their respects and meet with the family at Colaghty Parish Hall on Saturday from 5.00pm – 9.00pm. A service of thanksgiving for the life of Ken will take place on Sunday at 2.00pm in Colaghty Parish Church, followed by interment in the adjoining Churchyard.
