Kesh man accused of attempted child sexual charges

A 21-year-old man has appeared in court in relation to a number of attempted child sexual charges which allegedly occurred last year.
Brandon Irvine from Boa Island Road, Kesh is accused of attempting to sexually communicate with a child as well as attempting to intentionally cause a child to look at an image of a person engaging in sexual activity. Offending is alleged to have occurred on dates between September 12 and October4 2024.
A police officer aware of the facts of the case told Enniskillen Magistrates Court the charges could be connected.
District Judge Alana McSorley remanded on continuing bail of £500 with conditions including no unsupervised contact with anyone under 18.
The case will return to court on June 30.
