Enniskillen man sent for trial on GBI driving case

A 26-year-old Fermanagh man has been returned for trial on a serious driving charge which left a woman badly injured.
Appearing for a committal hearing was Dylan Lee Taggart from Hillview Walk, Enniskillen who is accused of causing grievous bodily injury to the woman by driving without due care and attention.
Offending is alleged to have occurred on April 9 2024 at Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen.
A prosecuting lawyer told Enniskillen Magistrates Court there is a case to answer which was agreed by District Judge Alana McSorley.
Taggart spoke only to confirm his identity and that he understood the charges against him. He declined to give evidence on his own behalf or call witnesses at this stage in proceedings.
Judge McSorley remanded him of £500 bail to appear for arraignment at Dungannon Crown Court on June 17.
