Countdown on to big Fermanagh and Omagh Council meeting

ALL eyes will be on the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council tonight (Tuesday) as they prepare to vote on the proposed redevelopment of the Fermanagh Lakeland Forum in Enniskillen.

A large crowd turned out to the Enniskillen Hotel last night (Monday) for a emotionally charged public meeting on the plan, which is now reported to cost around £70 million.

Local residents voiced their concerns to the local councillors in attendance. It’s expected, however, that the Council will vote in favour of the redevelopment of the Lakeland Forum tonight.
