Over €330,000 of cannabis has been found in the border village of Belturbet.
The search at a house in the Cavan village yesterday (Wednesday) uncovered €44,000 worth of cannabis plants and €290,000 in cannabis herb was found. The drugs have been sent for analysis.
Two men in their 30s were arrested and were detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1996 at a Garda Station in the North Western region.

Garda have said investigations ongoing.
