TWO convicted paedophiles were arrested last week for two separate incidents where they approached local children, one of whom was just four years old.
Businessman Charles Campbell (56) from Kesh was arrested on Thursday after an incident at a local bar where he was seen by an off-duty police officer talking to two children, aged four and ten. He was seen filming the children, and a dog, on his phone.
Campbell was previously convicted of voyeurism and creating indecent photos of a child and is subject to a Sexual Offences Prevention Order (SOPO) which bans him from unsupervised contact with children.
He appeared in court on Friday and was remanded in custody after having his bail condition denied.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, Robert Liddle (76) from Lisnaskea was also arrested last week for breaching his SOPO, by speaking with a nine-year-old girl who was alone in a local shop.
Having appeared in court on Thursday, he too was denied bail and remanded in custody.
