Fermanagh woman charged with motoring offences

A FERMANAGH woman has appeared in court accused of multiple motoring offences including dangerous driving.

Ailish Swift (22) who now has an address at Woodburn Crescent, Dungannon is further charged with taking a car causing damage in the process, driving while unfit through drink or drugs and without a licence or insurance and unlawful possession of the prescription-only diazepam.

Offending is alleged to have occurred in the area of Irvinestown Road, Enniskillen on February 23.

A police officer aware of the facts of the case told Enniskillen Magistrates Court all charges could be connected.

District Judge Alana McSorley remanded Swift on continuing bail to return to court on July 8.
