Man (30) raised fist at woman walking dog

AN ENNISKILLEN man who urinated and defecated in a police cell on different days has avoided a jail term.
Leeroy McDonagh (30) of Carnmore Lodge appeared at Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday for sentencing on four different sets of charges, including theft, common assault, criminal damage and disorderly behaviour, in connection to four different incidents.
On June 7th, at around 5.30pm, a woman was walking her dog at Devenish Nature Reserve in Cornagrade when McDonagh, who was with a group of men who were drinking, began shouting at her. He ran up to the woman with his fist raised, but another man intervened and pulled him away from the woman, who was afraid he was going to hit her.
On June 11th it was reported to police that McDonagh was outside a house in Enniskillen at around 1am. He was banging on the door of the house and kicking the car outside.
When police arrived McDonagh was drunk and in the middle of the road shouting. When he was arrested he urinated in his cell, despite being aware there was a toilet in the cell.
On August 18th, at around 2.30pm, McDonagh was in a cell at Omagh Police Station, having been arrested for an alleged breach of bail. He defecated in the cell and used toilet paper to smear the faeces on the cell walls and window.
Finally, at around 3.30pm on September 7th police were called to Sports Direct in Enniskillen, where a man had stolen a jumper worth £80. McDonagh was recognised as the culprit on CCTV. He gave a no comment interview to police, and the jumper was never recovered.
McDonagh was handed a two year probation order and sentence to 60 hours community service. Judge Ranaghan warned him if he failed to comply with the order he faced being sent to prison.
