Quinn Industrial Holdings (QIH) have confirmed there has been arson attack on one of its senior managers’ homes.
The company have said they are “grateful no one was injured or killed” after a car parked at the back of Dara O’Reilly’s home in Butlersbridge was petrol torched last night. The car was parked close to the home, below the bedrooms where Mr O’Reilly, his wife, and their two young children were sleeping.
The fire damaged the back of the house, with further damage being prevented by the prompt work of the fire service. A criminal investigation is now underway. The incident comes following previous threats and intimidation against senior figures at QIH, a company that employs 830 staff locally.
