MOTORISTS travelling in the direction of Belfast have been warned to expected delays due to major resurfacing work between Tempo and Clabby.
A section of the road outside Tempo is to be resurfaced and and some disruption is expected over the next two weeks. The major resurfacing scheme which will cost £146,000 started this Monday and will run for two weeks until October 5th.
The works will require a full closure of the Clabby Road from 8am to 6pm daily from Monday to Friday, and diversions have been put in place.
A diversion route will be signposted from Tempo village via the Edenmore Road, Trillick Road and Tattymoyle. Traffic travelling from Fintona will be diverted via the Ecclesville Road, Murley Road, A4 Belfast Road and Gardiners Cross Road.
Access for emergency vehicles, school buses and residents will be maintained at all times.
A spokesman for the Department of Infrastructure said, “the Department has carefully planned these works and associated traffic management arrangements in order to minimise any inconvenience to the public, however, motorists should expect some delays and allow additional time when planning any journeys.”
