A 64-year-old man appeared before Enniskillen Magistrates Court on Monday charged with making threats to kill and possession of knife at the South West Acute Hospital.

John Wilson of Silverhill Manor in Enniskillen appeared to face two counts of making a threat to kill a woman and two counts of being in possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife on 29th September and October 4th. He is also charged with possessing a knife with intent to commit GBH on both dates. District Judge Nigel Broderick remanded Wilson on bail of £500.

He was ordered not to enter the grounds of the South West Acute Hospital without reasonable excuse or to have contact with the injured party or any witnesses. The case was adjourned until December 6th.
