ALL’S well that ends well, as Skip, the missing dog featured in last week’s Herald has been found and back in the safe care of his owner.
The little spaniel/terrier crossbreed had been missing for well over a week, and his owner Danielle Clarke Robinson, was delighted to receive a call to say Skip had been found.
The much loved pet had gone missing from the countryside between Irvinestown and Dromore, and was found by a lady, Margaret Henry, from the Irvinestown / Lack area.
The woman looked after the dog until she saw the article in last week’s paper, and called the dog by his name, Skip.
When the dog heard his name, he got very excited and then Margaret knew she had found him and was able to return Skip to his owner.
“We are so glad that he is home and so is Tilly, our other dog. She was lost without him. The woman who found him looked after him really well and she was lovely so I am very grateful for that.
I am delighted to have him home safe and sound.
I was worried that because of Halloween and all the fireworks going off in the area, that he would be scared and we would not get him back again. Thankfully he is home now and he was well looked after while he was away.
Thank you so much for putting it in the Herald, we would not have got him back if it wasn’t for the article with his details,” said Danielle.
