A seven-year-old boy has died as a result of a car crash in Belcoo.
The single vehicle collision occurred on the Lattone Road in Belcoo at approximately 1pm this afternoon, Sunday, December 20, the PSNI have confirmed.
The boy, who is understood to be from the local area, was taken from the scene by ambulance with a police escort to the South West Acute Hospital, where he was sadly pronounced dead a short time later.
The main Garrison to Belcoo road remained closed for a time, and diversions were put in place. No futher details are available at this time.
