Appeal for driver after 13-year was struck by a car

Police in Enniskillen are searching for hit and run suspect.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a 13-year old was struck by a car while crossing a road in Enniskillen.

The incident took place on the Sligo Road, near the Scaffog area of Enniskillen. It is thought to have happened at at approximately 1.10pm, on December 12th.

Constable Jason McGowan said, “The driver of the car brought the juvenile to his mother’s property, he remained to make sure everything was ok. Unfortunately no one took the driver’s details.

“Police request that the driver contact us on the 101 number. We also would like to speak to anyone who witnessed to the incident to come forward.”
