Ronan Reilly who owns the electrical Store was left brushing up the remaining glass from windows which were smashed by a group youths on Thursday night, causing damage to the shop front.

This isn’t the first time premises in the area have face\d this type of attack and businesses are afraid that it could end in a tragic situation, if anti-social behaviour increases.

Ronan Reilly explained, “This has been happening for years, always around Halloween. It seems to be a crowd of cubs who throw stones at on-coming traffic and at premises in the area. The Police say they can’t do anything and it is an on-going scenario. Some day it will cause a serious accident.”
