Sheds targeted by thieves

SHEDS in the county are now being targeted by thieves.
Police in Fermanagh have confirmed they are are investigating a report of thefts from sheds.
Const. Lynda Steen said, “A lawnmower and strimmer were taken from a shed in the Belturbet Road area of Derrylin, sometime between Friday 7th August and Sunday 9th August.  Meanwhile, a locked shed in the Teemore Road area of Derrylin was broken into sometime between Thursday (Aug. 6th) and Sunday (Aug. 9th) evening.  A Stihl chainsaw, Stihl quick cut and hedge cutter were taken.” If you can help with Police enquiries please call the 101 number, quoting reference number 36530410815.

In a separate incident police in North Fermanagh are appealing for information.

Inspector Roy Robinson said, “A number of tools, including a Sigma tile cutter, transformer, Hitachi drill, Dewalt cordless drill, Dewalt laser level, small socket set, were stolen from a vehicle parked at Scallen Road, Irvinestown, sometime between 5.30pm on August 6th and 10am the following day (Aug. 7th).”
