A hit and run traffic collision has brought done the broadband internet services in Lisbellaw, causing £20,000 worth of damage.

Police are looking to identify an old style Red Ford Fiesta that was involved in the collision at about 6.30am on Tuesday 11th August 2015 on Main Street, Lisbellaw. Police believe that the person driving the aforementioned Red Fiesta collided with the BT broadband cabinet that services the area

This caused damage valued in the region of £20 000. As a result BT services in the area have been affected. If you have any information in identifying the vehicle or driver can you contact Police on 101 0r alternately contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111

BT staff told Police that the damage should be repaired by the end of the day.
