Three men aged 45, 44 and 41 have all been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis, possession of a class B controlled drug and possession of a class B controlled drug with intent to supply.
The arrests were made after a van was stopped by police officers in the Moorlough Road area of Lisnaskea at approximately 8.30pm on Wednesday 22 October. Equipment and a quantity of suspected cannabis plants, believed to be valued at approximately £43,000, were seized by police.
The three men are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
Neighbourhood Policing Team Inspector Roy Robinson said of the seizure and arrests: “This van was stopped by police officers who were on routine operations when they detected a particular smell. This seizure shows the vigilance of police in their everyday roles and is another step in the process of removing harmful substances from the community and keeping people safe.”
