A 49-year-old Enniskillen man has been accused of sexually touching a young girl and meeting her following sexually grooming, Fermanagh Court has heard.
Dermot Joseph MacBrien, of Derrin Park, appeared in the dock of Enniskillen Magistrates Court to stand accused of engaging in a sex act with a child and meeting a child after sexually grooming her on at least two occasions between September 1, 2013 and October 15, 2013.
MacBrien, who is being represented by Myles McManus, did not object to the holding of a preliminary enquiry while a prosecution officer told the court that there is a case to answer for.
MacBrien did not say anything in answer to the questions but that he understood the charges. He also rejected to call any witnesses or tender witness statements in his trial.
The accused was ordered to appear at Dungannon Crown Court on September 2, this year, for his trial.
