Wax and shave to help get Mark to the Special Olympics

FOOTBALLER Mark Corrigan is raising money for his participation in the Special Olympics Ireland Games.

The 20-year-old is holding a wax and shave night in An Chead Chumann, Newtownbutler this Saturday night.
Mark has been involved in the group for the last seven/eight years.

Funds raised will go to Mark’s trip to Limerick for the Special Olympics, and any excess will go back into the club.
Eight athletes from Lakeland Special Olympics Club have been selected for and are currently training with the Ulster team to complete in the Special Olympics Ireland Games in Limerick from 12-15 June 2014.

The prestigious and highly competitive sporting event in the Special Olympics competition cycle attracting thousands from all over Ireland including many sporting greats.

Paul O’Connell, Ireland Rugby International is the ambassador for the 2014 Ireland games.
