Police have recovered a body of a man from Lough Erne this morning.

Lee Rogers, 20, from Enniskillen, died after a boat carrying six people, capsized between Portora gates and the Round ‘O’.

Enniskillen RNLI lifeboats, underwater divers and the North West Search and Rescue team were involved in the search.

Police divers recovered the body this morning (Saturday).

In an update this morning police explained the search had resumed after halting last night.

It is understood that yesterday (Friday) evening around 6pm the alarm was raised when a boat carrying six people capsized and all the passengers were in the water. Five passengers made it to the shore line.

The boat involved was recovered and was towed back to Enniskillen.
