One of the organisers, Gerry McNamee of Car Zone NI, Irvinestown explained that the local traders had decided to get together to form a  working committee and from there, ‘Cheque out Irvinestown’ was born.

Already, “Cheque Out Irvinestown” promotion is  in full swing, with people are flocking to the town to avail of the big savings and special offers in all the participating businesses.

In  addition, they can enter the ‘Cheque Out Irvinestown” competition with a chance win £1,000 worth of shopping vouchers which can be redeemed in the local shops.
Irvinestown boasts over 60 family-run businesses offering value for money shopping along with exceptional personal customer service.

“If you come to Irvinestown for the value, you’ll stay for the service”, was how Mr McNamee put it.

He explained that, in a bid to attract more shoppers, and day trippers to the town, and, to reward the shops’ many loyal customers, ‘almost 100%’ of the businesses are involved in the, “Cheque Out Irvinestown” promotion.

“The traders have produced a cheque book containing over 60 pages, offering attractive savings and extra special offers in each business.

“Each time a customer makes a purchase in any of the participating businesses, they have the opportunity to enter a competition to win £1,000 worth of Irvinestown Shopping Vouchers.
