MUSIC fans came out in force on Sunday night – the bank holiday loomed – and a collection of over a dozen bands and musicians took residency in the Bush bar from early in the afternoon.

The event, dubbed ‘Rock For Sam’, was to raise money for the Sam Bradley care fund – and early estimates show that over £6,000 was raised on the night.

Downstairs, on the electric stage, the event was closed by loyal servants to the music scene for the last number of years – ‘Yellow Car No Return’.

The trio of Luke Burns, Eoin Parkinson and Paul Gallagher, played their last show – ever – in the county.

Other electric stage highlights included Captain Casey and Chocolate Love Factory.

Upstairs, on the acoustic stage, there was performances from acts including Darren Smyth, Caolan Jones and brothers Joel and Jamie Johnston.

All in all, another great night for a good cause!
