Starting and finishing at Derrygonnelly Community Centre, this endurance adventure race features trail running, cycling and kayaking.

Participants will be pushed to their limits along a carefully selected route that spans some of west Fermanagh’s most iconic and challenging landscapes, including the stunning Magho Cliffs and the rugged beauty of the Big Dog Forest.

The race is open to all athletes and also includes a special ‘Emergency Services Trophy’ event, to acknowledge the role that Fermanagh’s Emergency Services are playing in organising this event.

Chairman of Fermanagh District Council, Councillor Alex Baird, said that the County Fermanagh landscape provided an ideal setting for the race:

“County Fermanagh is world renowned for its natural beauty, attracting thousands of visitors and tourists every year.

“Fermanagh District Council is delighted to work in partnership with Fermanagh’s Emergency Services to bring FEAR to Fermanagh. FEAR provides an alternative way for endurance athletes to enjoy and experience our breathtaking natural environment.”

Competitors can choose to participate in one of two race routes; a 37.5 kilometre or 72 kilometre race route.
